  1. I think Bart is right. I'm a terrible player. But even though the guy was bluffing, I don't see how this is a good call in the long run. Unless you have a crazy read on the player, he's way more often going to have two pair, sets, and flushes.

  2. I think he wants you to tell him that he made a great call..this is prime example of why poker is not dead (both the players).

  3. This hand is a prime example of the "win at all costs" attitude some players have. Both of these players demonstrated that in this hand. Villain shoves in desperation to win a big pot. Not to be out done, the hero calls because he doesnt have enough discipline to let a big pot go. You simply dont have the pot odds to make a call in this situation. Even if you think theres a 50% chance that the villain is bluffing, in the long run there are just so many hands out there that can beat you. Too many to call here, thats for sure.

  4. By exposing his hand, the villain looked fearful. This told the hero he was ahead. Therefore the call was correct.

  5. can he really have flush at turn?there isnt that many flushes ,its only KJs(or maybe J9s).

  6. I like Bart's analysis that this is a bad call in the long run. Not quite sure in higher stake 2/5 or above, but players always trap sets and check shove like this hands go in 1/3.
