I've always believed that Martingale in BJ (or even Baccarat) is like chasing a tissue in a hurricane (Outside of card-counting, of course. But then it's not really Martingaling, is it?). Martingale, IMHO, is for Roulette. And even then, only as part of a given system. That's why I've been chomping at the bit to see you guys do the "Can you Martingale it?" series where you apply it to different Roulette systems to see what happens. I know you always have TONS of submitted systems to try, but I do think that series would prove to be pretty interesting.
What was the craps app called?
I'm gonna give you one: I am a high roller so I play minimum 50, and I buy in 5000. Huge risky game: four hands, every win: you just ad 50, if you lose you start over. You have to keep playing until you get a winning streak of at least 5 in a row. The pot grows like this: 50, 150, 350, 750, 1550. It is very typical you will not win anything using this system, but when you do hit the winning streaks: money in the bank. To me it's the ultimate black jack strategy, because you go from 5000 to 20000 in less than half an hour if you start winning. But you have to quit while the game is good. I didn't do the math, I have the knowledge to do the math, but I am not giving away science explanations for free. 🙂 Science takes time. 🙂
