Good video John. Count me in, time permitting, if you do a fantasy game.
Good explanation of Put bets and when to use them….thanks
FYI: most high odds tables won't take put bets. Of course 3-4-5X tables will take put bets all day long. For those that are serious about playing craps to win money, the first rule is don't play at these low odds tables. Play 10X minimum. Next rule is never make place bets, only line bets with odds. Then we can talk about when to work the odds or call them off. But serious players need to stop wasting time with nonsense bets you should never make at tables with rules you shouldn't tolerate.
I would think with a name like pro craps, the focus should be on playing craps the proper way. Other than a blackjack card counter, craps offers the best chance of winning in the casino. Played properly at proper tables, the house edge can be reduced to 0.2%. It's very possible to overcome such a small edge. The slightest fluctuation in probability puts you on the winning side.
So focus on line bets with odds (take 'em or lay 'em). No other bets should even be considered by a serious player. Then focus on strategy to turn off odds at certain times. Personally I'm always off on first roll after the come out roll. Then I'm on for 3 rolls. If I got paid in those 3 rolls, I stay on. If I didn't, then I'm off until a come bet wins. Play 4 numbers total, 1 pass line with 3 come bets. Play the flat bets like normal even if odds happen to be off for that roll. I learned to play this way at the Horseshoe in the 80's which was craps heaven back then. Pro's have always used this strategy or one very similar to it. I still play 4 days a week in Vegas.
