In Baccarat, players sit at a table much like Blackjack and the dealer handles all the cards, dealing and decision-making. The Baccarat player is simply picking one of two hands to bet on: the “Dealer Hand” or the “Banker Hand”.

The object of Baccarat is to get as close to a total of nine (with two cards), without going over.

BACCARAT CARD VALUES:
2-9 = face value
10, Jack, Queen, King = 10 (or easier to calculate as zero)
Ace = 1

NOTE: It’s easier to calculate 10, J, Q, K as a zero value since hands that equal more than 10 will drop the “1” in their count. IE, a jack and a three which total 13 would drop the 1, thus equalling a hand total of three. Therefore, you can more easily count 10-K as zero value cards.
