In January, @BACCARAT was the proud sponsor of the 2022 Pegasus World Cup in Miami. As the Official Trophy Sponsor, Baccarat presented the Pegase horse: a real technical feat that required more than 90 hours of work by a ‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’.

In conjunction with the event, Baccarat is also the Official Sponsor of “Too Black Too Fast”, an exhibit that sheds light on the first black jockeys who broke the color barrier in America. The exhibition is free to the public in Miami in celebration of Black History Month.

Robert and Lawana Low’s “Colonel Liam”, returned to capture the $1 Million Baccarat sponsored Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes for the second consecutive year at Gulfstream Park. The trophy was presented by Miriam Vales, CFO of Baccarat, Inc.

“Life Is Good” owned by WinStar Farm LLC. won the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) presented by 1/ST BET. They were presented with the Pegasus Championship Trophy by Belinda Stronach, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of 1/ST, and Jim Shreve, Chief Executive Officer of Baccarat North America.
