Tldw : there are crazy whales in HS and some of the most successful regs will be the ones to run good against them.
40-100BB short stacks?
Great video!
These videos are great, and so addicting to watch. It's really cool to hear how you think instinctually, and analyzes new scenarios. Thank you Steffen!
Great YouTube as usual
I like the seat on the VIP's right (Robert Flink's seat). If this guy is going to be doing stuff like min-raising out of the blinds with 42s, then I want to be limping behind often and back-raising when the opportunity presents itself to try and trap as much dead money as possible, and attempt to lock-in and realize all of my equity against some weaker than average ranges and someone willing to call it off very light.
Anyway, that would typically be my strategy, but in these kinds of games things tend to really get wild, and stacks start flying all over the place, and sometimes nothing goes your way and you can't help but feel like you somehow did something wrong. But that's just because it's hard not to feel like you are somehow entitled to a big payday with this kind of player at the table. But it doesn't always work out that way, and sometimes the guy gets extremely lucky (of course he's got 4 guys rooting for him in most of the hands he plays), and when he gets lucky, it's great for the game, as it reinforces this kind of behavior.
What really bad is when his heater is in all the pots he plays with you, and then he goes and dumps it all back to some other reg or regs at the table. That's where you've really got to keep your cool and avoid blowing off a few extra stacks because you are on tilt watching him give all the money away (thinking that he gave it away "to some nit that doesn't deserve it" or something along those lines).
Robert Flink = bajskorven87 😁
I could literally watch and listen to u analyze poker all day.
Hey Steffen, off topic Q: Whats with that soccer jersey in the back? How come you have a connection to Osnabrück?
