only doing on the come out roll
Most people dont really see the Lay bet being profitable , but the Lay bet and Lay strategies are powerful tools .
Thanks, Jacob, you are helping my craps game. I was in Laughlin last week. Took my tool box to the table broke out the "Anything but 10". Bought in for $300. told the dealers what I wanted to do. One of the dealers says, "Oh, I like that". $120. lay 10. $54. across. 1/2 1/3 set, stick left 1, no stickman to my right, 8:30 am, just 2 dealers and the boxman. Great guys! First roll pso, $3. vig. made $3. Next roll, wish I new the count, but being the only one at the table they would pay me and the dice were right there. It was happening very fast. Like 5 to 10 seconds a roll. I rolled over 20? times, it was a blurr. I tilted, never brought down my lay 10. I just kept rolling. Then Boom! hard 10. What did this tilted guy do, I put the 120 lay 10 back up. Boom! back to back hard 10's. Time to cash out. $340.and some change, gave the dealers $24. walked away with $320. Sorry about abusing the tool, its kinda like borrowing dads screwdriver and using it as a pry bar and putting it back in the tool box bent.
Do you have to lay a bet before the come out roll or can you do it anytime?
Multiples of $30 works for every number. Bored? Wait 5 rolls, Lay $90 on the last number rolled. Collect winnings.
Still bored? $50 DP or DC after third roll (or on come out), with $12 7 Hopping. Next roll, $30 DC (no Hops, as you are covered by your $50 DP or DC. Last bet, $90 DC ($10 exposure to the 7). Next roll….7…collect winnings. IF the first DP gets hit with a 7, you’ll make money. Stack it, don’t rack it…multiple 7’s on the Come Out make it a beautiful thing.
Sitting in the hook, next to a dealer….choppy table fun!
Oh…forgot…Jimmie the Greek’s dying words were ‘Never Lay’. Although that was what made him tons of money…other than sports handicapping.
Did you ever get the chance to try the stacked throw, I asked you about? It was a while back, and based off the 2 1 stack throw video you had up earlier this year. Thanks for your time, Mark.
Hey bro just watch the video about a third of the way through and noticed your lay the four for $130 at the six minute mark… The Vig on $120 is $3…. $1 Vig for every $20 won…
the fact that you’re trying to win $65, the casino is charging you an extra dollar to win $5… that’s 20% Vig on your $5 extra Win. You might want to lower that to $120 or bump it to $160…. enjoy your videos keep up good work
After watching this video I thought to myself…what if you "martingale" everything you lose a 4 or 10 lay bet. It seems to be working really well. I'd like you to do a video on that method. $750 bankroll ($1500 if you're really ballsy) and lay $50 on either the 4 or 10. Roll it out, if it gets knocked off go to the next level $100, if that gets knocked off go to the next level $200, then $400, but when you win you just go down one level. So, if you lose at $50, then lose again at $100, but win at the $200 level, the next bet is $100 again. If that gets knocked off go to $200, if that gets knocked off go to $400, if that wins drop back to $200, if that wins drop to $100, if that wins drop back to $50 base bet.
Playing this way makes some money, not a ton, but constantly wins, if you can afford to start at $100 ($1500 bankroll) you can make $500-$1000 in a few hours. It's not as exciting as playing some strategies where you can win on almost every roll, but I think you should try a video on it.
I'm new to craps, but learning lots. Great video! But have a question if the point is 4 for example can you do a lay bet on that point?
