5-Play Video Poker – $25 a Spin!

Blackjack Tips Information & Video Source:

The father/son duo of Matt and Steve Bourie, from the American Casino Guide book, play 5 play video poker at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood in South Florida.

They were playing a $1 denomination, 9/5 Jacks or Better game, betting $25 per spin, and they started with $500. They hit some nice multipliers during their play, but did they earn enough to leave as winners on this game?

  1. Matt, boring games are better. Games with lots volatility or swings(highs-lows) are not good for your bankroll and enjoyment of the game. I agree with your dad. Less volatility is safer and more fun.

  2. lol I'm with you Matt. Playing these games is like watching paint dry 😂

  3. Matt, quick question; when you are playing and are dealt a non-suited Q, K, A, in your core hand, what is your rationale in keeping the Q, K ? I know you leave yourself open on both ends for the possibility of a straight, but you drop the opportunity of catching 3 more Aces on the draw and end up with 4 Aces total? Wouldn't the preferred move be to keep the K, A? Aces are a premium card. Thanks. I enjoy the videos!

  4. Really enjoy your videos guys and myself and my partner got into video poker on our last vegas trip. Love double double bonus poker especially the 4 Aces with a kicker. Keep up the great work.

  5. If your dealt three aces and a low kicker and a irrelevant fifth card, do you hold the three aces and the low kicker to draw for the forth ace? My thinking is you would only need the fourth ace if you already have the low kicker for double double bonus poker.
