Should be 6 things to know…#1 – tip the dealers because they have put up with the other 5 things I'm going to tell you…lol. Best part of the last one, you bet late you will get hit with those dice and you will bleed 🤣
Sounds like you had a rough nite dealing just a little bit ago. But, I will agree with you that what you are talking about is important for players to understand and be ready to play. As a player myself, when there are one, two, or several people whos behavior is such, like what you are talking about, it takes away from my experience and causes me to not enjoy that particular session.
I need to add three things dealers need to do! Clean up place bets. I was at a casino this last Saturday and had a 35 dollar 5. The stack was 5 white and and 6 red. I asked the dealer to clean it up and his responce was, " no ", very rudely. I don't know why, but he did not want to make it a green and 2 red. Another thing is, 15 for 1. Think you know what I am talking about. 10 bet, pays 14. I have my white chip ready to go, lay it out there and use my voice. The dealer still pays 14, and he gives no retort like, " catch on the next one ". And does it over and over again. I hate when dealers act that way. The last one is when dealer are even more rude and it has to do with the stick man. They position themselves, their arms or the stick in such a way it interfers with the throw of the dice. I absolutly hate that.
I know how upset people can get when another player has their hand in the way when someone is about to throw or has already thrown the dice and the dice hits that person's hand (especially if a seven is rolled).
What about when it's a dealer that has their hand in the way? I saw this happen several times last night when I was the shooter. It did hit his hand once but thankfully it was a five that rolled. It could have been that the stick man was trying to keep too fast of a pace? He was pushing the dice to me before the dealer on our end had finished paying the bets on each roll (and there were only three players on that end of the table). Maybe he wasn't giving the dealer at the other end time to finish? Nobody said anything though.
