How To Build A MASSIVE Stack In Poker Tournaments

Poker Tips Video Source & Information:

Today I have a BIG announcement. But first I am joined by Pratyush Buddiga to discuss what it takes to really run up a big stack early in multi-table tournaments.

Learn more about the Tournament Master Class here: https://upswingpoker.com/tournament-master-class/

We also break down some hands from my MTT runs, as well as a few of his. It’s tough to make final tables when you’re stalling out in the early stages.

Note that the free content I talk about at the end has expired is no longer available for viewing.

  2. Raising all in with JJ looks like you dont want a call. I think he should've raised to like 3800 or something. Gotta make it look like you want a call. All in looks too bluffy.

  3. Hand 2 most ppl seem to flat suited As or KQ suited. AJ also. AQ suited is on the borderline. Seems many ppl over value it.

  4. The guy that called with A10 would do it against anyone. It's called – do not bluff the fish – rule #1 in poker 😀

  5. I am pretty new to poker and ranges so take this with a grain of salt…but why are they discounting that villain in hand one had queens, kings, an ace, ace-queen, queen-king, or any other queen? Seems to me like a huge gamble for the entire stack!

  6. the last hand is interesting. he could have AQs, AJs, JQs, KQ as well. given that he raised preflop. its a ok fold. but I would go all in on river for max pressure, only 2 hands on river would beat me, which is 99 and AJ(maybe a distant JJ). wait for the river normally kills your hand. if the other guy wins on the river, at least you did a better choice, and he was lucky. its my way to see it

  7. Was hoping for actual architechtual advice on stacking chips at the table =/
