Good session Brandon! Can you play some βsidersβ next time? π
Love love your positive attitude when ur playing tables games
Yey thank you so much for your hard work to keep us watch best wishes π€πβοΈππ€π
Thank you for remaining positive in general and not turning into you-know-who. It's so much easier to root for someone whose personality is something other than "woe is me, I am the unluckiest gambler alive." Please stick with this – it's 100% okay to bitch a bit when your dealer bad out on your 20 with a 21 but expecting it to happen every hand is different.
There are four strategy errors in this video – two I'm sure you're aware of, and two I don't believe you are.
2:39 – 15 vs. Ace in a game where the dealer unfortunately hits soft 17 is a Surrender. This did cost you.
5:22 – 16 vs. dealer 9, regardless of what the dealer does on S17, is also a Surrender. This cost you as well.
12:31 – you know full well 10v10 is not a double, but I could tell as I watched the rest of the video that you were going nuts only betting $100 and not upping your bet to go along with trends when you were winning multiple hands in a row, and it led you to make a bad decision, though it didn't cost you.
12:45 – 4, 4 vs. 3 is not a split. It did cost you, but had you played the hand out correctly you would have still lost the main hand, so it only cost you one unit. And to respond to what you said at 13:27 – "you should never split anything that begins with an F" – this is untrue. It covers most cases, but 4, 4 vs. dealer 5 or 6 on any table where you're allowed to double down after splitting is indeed a split. Starting with 4 twice is worth not having a starting 8 vs those two cards, where you are favored just hitting, but splitting there is worth it given you have 5 out of 13 cards that enable you to put out even more money – the 5, 6 or 7 for 9, 10, or 11 respectively, an Ace for a soft double, or a 4 for a re-split, and you get two chances. But against a 3, you go from being favored by an absolutely tiny 0.8% by hitting, to a 9.1% underdog. I could tell you also likely made this play as an excuse to be able to put out more than $100 while holding to your restriction of flat betting one unit.
So as a whole, you lost $200 from strategy errors this session. Stil a $500 profit, but maybe if you were up $200 more throughout, you might have hit the $1k mark you were looking to do and stopped before the bad hands at the end?
In general, you make the tough plays. You're not afraid to hit your soft 18s against high dealer upcards, and at least once this did turn one of your losses into a win. You don't flinch at hitting 12 vs. dealer 2s or 3s. You're better than these other mistakes and I know it. Admittedly, I kind of hope you make a bigger deal out of the proper surrenders – in your game, there are six (15v10, 15vA, 16v9, 16v10, 16vA, 17vA) as a teaching tool to get many of the 16,000+ subscribers you have to take advantage of the option in their own gambling, for the net good of all players.
ok let me get this straight. your cruise was free, but you had to pay $400 in which they gave back for you to spend on cruise additionals only? so you paid $400?
Nice video good hit and run
Yeah super boring π€ don't know how anyone can flat bet. Odds are against you and it's not fun.
Flat beating is like watching paint dry lol I watched the full video just to help your views, it was tough to not fall a sleep π
Lol… Thanks for another interesting video Brandon… That Just one more! Is for that tee shirt
Think you should play the side bet for 5 dollars just for more excitement just a recommendation.
