“10s or 9s”? He knew he was beat, but gambled, sucker punched that poor guy.
To get that close and be out of the biggest tournament in the world is heart breaking but great TV.
Punished by his bad image.
He couldn’t believe that he won… the smile said it all 😎💯
I felt bad for Affleck …. but Duhamel can't fold there.
even knowing that he's likely behind … and he clearly knew where he stood … he had (up to) 10 outs to win that massive pot. and I remember the broadcast so I know where their stacks were at that stage of that tournament (which is the ONLY caveat I'd give for folding BEFORE the turn). but, there isn't a person in this comment section folding on THAT turn. period.
and while I get WHY he did what he did … and technically, he was right to do it, Affleck shouldn't have shoved on that turn … with HIS stack, HIS OPPONENT's stack, and that turn. cuz his AA really doesn't beat much by that point.
Not that bad of a beat, he had ten outs.
One of the worst suck-outs ever.
Duhamel is trash..
Bad call and gets bailed out, tough to see it man
Terrible board for aces you can fold that turn.
