Have you tried this simple poker strategy? Also, here are the 6 hands that everybody screw up: https://youtu.be/kAawTg2H-Q0
At lower stakes you see it all. A small block bet? That could be thin value, it could be the absolute nuts. The only way to know is get to a showdown with them.
Nathan I started watching your videos. My results have gone through the roof.
strategy: bet 1 dollar on the flop and turn and have the cocky players throw 10 and 20 dollars at it each time. check the river, call their all in with the nuts. Ive done it many times. I love these vids and have learned a ton from Nathan. But this vid I disagree with. You gotta be playing a real dummy for them to follow your $10 increases with less then top cards.
idk about you guys but at my local 1/2 game, most people are not TERRIBLE like the internet makes it out to seem. I'm a winning player, by a decent amount too, but I swear the internet acts like people at 1/2 rode the short bus to school. Don't get me wrong, there are some maniacs or drunks that just splash chips around but generally speaking people are semi-educated thanks to youtube lol
I feel like you really came after me in this video lol jk. I'll admit, using the min bet strategy has burned me in a few situations dealing with huge re-raises (especially with medium strength holding/draws/combos), but it's a great trap move that has helped me learn I can't always re-raise big when its done to me. Also lost value in some instances when they fold by the turn.
A lot of players use it to simply build a pot when they are strong, but playing with nits who would never call a Cbet, or even a 1/3 pot bet without strong hands.
It also helps when you've been dominating due to your channel, and no one wants to play a big hand with you. Thanks again!
For those watching, this tip is garbage. Treat the min bet like a check and raise them to what you'd normally bet, maybe a bit bigger as they've demonstrated that they will put money into the pot. But raising to 40 in a 30 dollar pot with second pair is not good poker
I'm making more than one BB per hand lately.
I still suffer major losses when I call all-ins. Probably best to almost never call all-ins unless your opponent has a short stack or you have a monster hand and were wanting to go all-in yourself.
..
It's fun to trap guy like Nathan who think they can bet into your nuts because you checked. LOL Donk poker
Whose should be who's, I also think the turn pot is 40, 10 pre flop plus 15×2
