Strategy in heads up pot limit Omaha is aggressive and that sometimes means that the variance is going to be HIGH.
A lot of players, new poker players and beginner poker players especially, miss 4-bets with hands like this.
It might be hard to find them but by doing some poker study, finding a proper poker coach, or watching a poker strategy course you can find some win rate boosting advice.
4-bet pots are (usually) bigger than your average single raised pot, it’s probably good for your win rate to find more ways to win bigger pots right? 🤔
Lastly – I don’t hate my bet here, even though it may have cost me €45k!

I wish you did more NLH 😢
Offffffffff that’s big
I've run into the same situation but it cost me $4.50
Heads up PLO isnt it
Surely Phil should know what solver 4bets in HU as a PLO specialist. Phil. Please be honest here. How bad is it that you don't know whether this is a 4bet or not preflop?
JQs is not enougth for flush in Omaha.
For straight – yes, it maybe good.
J7QT – is a good start hand anyway for two pair, trips, straight, fullhouse.
Wow I’m kinda shocked Phil as postflop seems like a clear error. For 2.5 SPR you’re in bad shape when this gets all in and you have a checking range on this flop as you don’t want to go broke with all aces without any back up. Seems like checking back the 7 with mediocre fd is clearly better and works out nicely to help out the rest of your checkback range which is otherwise just weak aces.
