Craps table underlay can be comprised of many different materials, and Casino’s don’t have a standard across the board material that is preferred. I will be changing the underlay that will make the dice behave more like that of most Casino’s, so my table is currently under remodel.

I use vinyl from Casino4you. feels and bounces like the Edgewater in laughlin
Great timing on this video. I'm currently looking to build a 8' throwing table. Just bought the microfiber top, but have been confused on what goes underneath. I've seen many videos stating to use vinyl first, then 1/8" closed cell volara foam, then your microfiber felt. Thinking about going that direction, but up for suggestions from everyone.
It would be great if you show what you use and let us know how it works out. Been going to same casino in vegas for some time now and can not duplicate the table at home after multiple attempts at differ underlays. Im either to hard or too bouncy so all the practice is differ and I even use their dice.
Lost big time this weekend on the really cold tables. The quarter trips for short weekends are getting expensive 🙁
Point seven outs are a fricken killer. Some short game startagies are great for our survival game. Any short game stuff is greatly appreciated..
I think most of us know how to start pressing and betting for the long throws which are far in between. Waiting on the rotation to get dice back is my killer!!!
El Toro : There is a raging debate currently on Color Up 's channel on "if betting on TRENDS that each shooter is throwing" is a viable strategy or not !!!!
I chart each shooter at my table, whether he or she is a dice setter or not ( random shooter ) !!!! I chart each shooter on the baccarat cards the casino supplies for free and the red and black pen !!!!
Then I analyze the data for TRENDS !!!! I know the dice have no memory, but , I do believe that there are TRENDS; I look on my charted data and I see TRENDS !!!!
Each shooter is different, but , they pretty much stay in the preametors of their OWN style !!!! In other words each shooter is throwing the dice the same every time !!!! So , wouldn't it be best to bet the shooters TRENDS !!!!????
I'd really like to see you do a video on YouTube that features the "NO STRATEGY, BET THE TREND STRATEGY" !!!! I HOPE I'm explaining this clearly enough for everyone to follow and understand !!!!
Your video would have to track a shooter for say 3 , 4 or five roll sessions; then you analyze those sessions for TRENDS; then on the 4th, 5th or sixth session you bet the TRENDS !!!! There is no guarantee that TRENDS will continue, but , as long as the TRENDS are going , shouldn't we be betting on TRENDS !!!! Then when the TREND changes , bet on the new TREND !!!!
IF YOU SEE A TREND, BET A TREND !!!!
I can't wait to hear what your response is to this IDEA !!!!
ARE TRENDS REAL , DO THEY PREDICT FUTURE DICE OUTCOMES !!!!???? IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE !!!!???? YOU CAN'T DENY THAT TRENDS EXIST, BECAUSE THEY DO EXIST !!!! COULD WE BE UNCOVERING THE GREATEST DICE SECRET OF ALL TIME !!!!????
I used vinyl turned upside down. I also heard somewhere on utube that 1/8 valer something , was the stuff . Good to know it's not.. thanks for the vid…
As you know I used your $270 across on random shooters, but that is pretty steep. Then I watched how you be with quarters across and one $100 bet on one number. That is betting less on you than on random shooters. Is that really what you do? Do you have a lower bankroll strategy for random shooters while playing the ATS for either 5,5,5 or 2,1,2? By lower bankroll, I am asking for a $15 or $10 table.
cork on bottom
Cork sounds like it might be a good option, never used it. Here is another option you might want to consider. Suede with a lambs wool backing, 1/8" at most JoAnn's. Doesn't replicate the casinos exactly but gives you a true bounce & roll out with a some what de-tuned sound effect which is what I was trying to accomplish. You'll need a sharp pair of fabric shears for cutting & trim. Two people needed to lay, one to pull & stretch while the other staples. No gluing required.
Toro…your videos are well done and greatly appreciated. Good luck with your table revamp. I'll subscribe and hit all the buttons on my way out.
I got the same set of dice from Sam and they are awesome. I was wondering where did you get your table from?
