most players don't know how to play for money!
Good video
No 4 is quite important, I tend to take a break from poker for a few weeks or sometimes a few months depending on my mentality at the time. That said, I did it a couple of years ago, took a break for 4 months, then came back started playing on Pokerstars again and started playing well again. Ended up winning 5k on a $5 spin n go and ran well in a $27 bounty builder and won 3k. Sound advice and have signed up to the site as well as subscribed to the channel 👍
Everything you say makes sense , keep up the good job
Thank god this video has audio, good advices ty
I am enjoying your videos and think I have improved as a result, Thanks
why do people make videos of how to make it in poker and they have no proof of doing it for a living. Its like me teaching basketball and i can't make the team. How to get out of a downswing? YOu can't. You have to accept they will happen. If you can't deal with a downswing then you need to get a day job.
For me, it helps to remember that if it wasn't for variance there wouldn't be any weak players to exploit – they would all get cleaned out up front and leave the game. It's only because the edge is so slim that people will gamble. Chess or Go aren't gambling games, because the best player will almost always win. I once played the world amateur Go champion – I could have played 1000 games and I'd have lost 1000 times. But I could sit in with pro poker players for an hour or two, and if the cards ran hot there's at least a chance I could leave with $$$ in my pocket. So toughen up and ride the variance – it's the very reason that the game exists.
How to never lose (almost):
1. Have fun
2. Study on and away table
3. Strategize and engineering ways to win
4. Add small adjustments
5. Rinse and repeat, I mean work hard.
