3 Things You NEED to Know About Playing Poker in Macau

10 thoughts on “3 Things You NEED to Know About Playing Poker in Macau

  1. With newish laws being passed over in China and those laws hindering online poker and affecting Macau with the shutdown of some poker rooms, does anyone know how the live tournaments are going if any?
It's hard to find anything online, all I ever did was play at the city of dreams pokerstars live but now that's gone I can't find any more info on other tourneys.

  2. you mentioned the different tiers of accommodations, but you didn't allude to how expensive each option generally is? Can you please give some guidance on what to generally expect cost wise at each level?

  3. I wouldn't walk in the door of a casino owned by Sheldon Adelson the man who singlehandedly outlawed online poker in America.

  4. When you hear the 100/200 is really good and always running that would be like 12/25 in USD. Also from the stories you hear would you say its soft like the smaller games in the states like 2/5 soft? Im guessing if its one of the smaller games offered it would be mostly rec players and weak regs.

  5. Alec I prefer my fish to be the limp-calling check folding kind. The problem with the aggro donk is that aggressive poker is accidentally closer to correct poker and sometimes you can't avoid having bottom two pair when he stacks off repping a hand he just occasionally has.

  6. absolutely stupid that a $200 cap on the rake. I don't care how much money you have that's pure robbery. I'll be down the street running my own game in a damn motel room and pay some security pretty good and I think $20 would be sufficient for a rake.
