  1. Banker is in fact the SLIGHTLY better bet. I understand why you were thinking otherwise though. You have to fully work out the math to see for yourself. If we totally disregard ties then P wins 49.32% of the time and B wins 50.68% of the time.
    If you subtract those 2 numbers you get 1.36% which is the house advantage on P (totally disregarding ties as if they never happened).
    Worked out a different way:
    So here is the math for P:
    0.4932 X +10 = +4.932
    0.5068 X -10 = – 5.068
    + 4.932 – 5.068 = – 0.136
    -0.136/10 = -0.0136 = -1.36% which is the exact house advantage on P TOTALLY disregarding ties.

    Here's the math for B:
    0.5068 X +9.50 = +4.8146 (because 50 cents commish)
    0.4932 X -10 = – 4.932
    +4.8146 – 4.932 = -0.1174
    -0.1174/10 = -0.01174 = -1.174% ~= -1.17% which is the house advantage on B TOTALLY disregarding ties.

    If you include ties in your computations then it turns out:
    P = -1.23% and B = -1.06%
    In both cases it turns out that B is the slightly better bet.
    Some Bac books or web sites use the numbers that include the ties and others use the numbers that disregard ties.

  4. GC with a big bankroll you have you’re playing too conservatively. You could easily flatbet at $50 bet. Play BBP and try to get 1 win per row. When you’re $50 up quit for the day.

  6. I think you can safely play the WHOLE D'Alembert System in full because you have OVER 2,000 X your Minimum bet of $5. Meaning that if you can bet $5 Over two thousand times before you lost it all. That is very solid in my book. The funny thing is that you can definitely hit your win goal while in the Stratosphere and then you can just Either Drop to base and play extended OR leave Immediately. It gives you a choice. I don't know exactly how I would play if I had over 14K But I probably would not have $5 as my base bet. But that is just me. I think you are wise and very centered to be able to do that.
