Learn Baccarat Video Source & Info:
In this video I will go through some tips on how to remember the draw rules for Baccarat. Baccarat is a game between two sides. The names of the sides are “Player” and “Banker”. You choose either the Player or the Banker side to win, or a tie. Both sides will get two cards each to start and depending on the draw rules, one or both sides may draw a third card.
Here are the tips that I use to train staff and people that want to learn the game:
1. If either side has a total of 8 or 9, neither side will take a card and the game is done. Whichever side is closest to 9 wins.
2. If both sides have totals of 6-6 or higher, neither side will take a card and the game is done. Whichever side is closest to 9 wins.
3. Player side will never take a 3rd card with a starting total of 6 or higher.
4. Banker side will never take a 3rd card with a starting total of 7 or higher.
5. If both sides have totals of 2-2 or less, both sides will take a third card (Player side takes a third card and then Banker side takes a third card). The full rule is if Player side has 5 or less and Banker side has 2 or less, both take a third card.
6. If the Player side starts with 5 or less and the Banker side has 3, If Player’s 3rd card is anything but 8, Banker draws a 3rd card. If the Player’s third card is an 8, the game is done and whoever is closest to 9 wins.
7. If the Player side starts with 5 or less and the Banker side has 4, If Player’s 3rd card is 2-7, Banker draws a 3rd card.
8. If the Player side starts with 5 or less and the Banker side has 5. If Player’s 3rd card is 4-7, Banker draws a 3rd card.
9. If the Player side starts with 5 or less and the Banker side has 6. If Player’s 3rd card is 6-7, Banker draws a 3rd card.
