Have just been watching several videos on how to play BJ and yours is very good in that you are actually playing hands, and, using the basic strategy (BS) tables. Am I correct in thinking that BS determines ONLY whether you hit, stand, split, double etc, and is independent of how much you bet. Also it appears that card counting is completely independent from BS and it determines only how much you bet. If this is true then the other videos don’t make this point clear and only consider the making of money from the casino.
