Learn Blackjack Video Source & Info:
At one horrific point, the blackjack team I co-managed was down nearly half a million dollars. In this video, I’m going to share with you what got us to that point, how we ultimately climbed out of it, and what exactly you need to know to avoid making our mistakes.

What’s so sad is $455k seems like nothing with all of these slot streamers these days. . . It’s insane.. . But great story man
“Oh, I stopped playing because it just wasn’t “fun” anymore…then, I stopped running teams because, again, it had lost its “fun”.
“It’s just part of my personality that I get bored and have to move on to the next challenge.”
I call bullbad. You probably just burnt out. There’s no shame in that. Just don’t lie to people.
Counting is such a grind. But, those who make money at the level you were making it, don’t quit due to “boredom”, or because “it wasn’t fun anymore”.
I’ve got a boring job that pays me pretty damn well. I have no inclination to quit it.
So, if you’re all about the math and facts, why church?
I’m a 8 years card counter, five hundred dollars to half a million dollar.I also often tell others, even as a card counter 90%will lose in the end.that y a reason I don’t like to teach other how to play.
As someone who plays poker and roulette, I like to balance risk against reward all the time. To minimise variance it appears to me that going straight to bigger bets as soon as the count is in your favour may cost you a lot of money if many big bets go against you. I don't know if you do this at all but I think applying a 'Martingale' system to the betting when the count goes in your favour would reduce variance greatly.
Very informative channel but I have a question. Do you believe there's a better time to play? At busy tables during prime hours, noted there will be lot's of drunk recreational players, or during slower hours, and maybe just heads up?
Still not sure how you actually make money when at best you have a 1-3% advantage, and even then it's only for a fraction of the time you are playing.
$170K in expenses….?
How much of that was hookers and blow?
I like your content Colin but I must say this. You care about money just like the casinos but try to act like you don't. All of these videos come across a little grimy because you're acting a little bit like you're doing something noble or valorous when it's not. When you were talking about "cutting non-essential people" I really felt this. They weren't assets TO YOU. What if you were one of the "non-essential assets"? You're lucky you were in a position of power to fire people, that's maybe what we should learn from this. To have the charisma, bankroll, and friend network to be the CEO not the employee.
You come across as very results-oriented and a little TOO clean(fake) when what you are doing is dirty, disgusting work grinding it out for chump change(relatively speaking) in the grand scheme of things. It is nice to make money though.
It's all viewed through the lens of "did I make money that day?" or "generate EV". "Generate EV" is a buzzword for "exploiting anyone and anything to get a positive expected outcome FOR YOU." It's very selfish but may not seem like it on the surface. Like just because YOU made money it was all good, that's how the videos come across.
Great stories though.
I'm made this from 999 to 1k likes! Felt good!! Love the videos!! Just these has helped my game!!
