  3. You broke even when if you stood 18 you would have won. Standard play against an 8

  5. It’s a split against 8 and a 9 also. A lot of people don’t do it, but it’s right.

  7. What an guy!!! You NEVER split 9's, especially when the dealer has an 8 showing!!! Normally, the worse you can do is to "push", which in Blackjack, is a Win. This person has business playing BJ till they learn the Basics…. NEVER SPLIT 9's!!!!

    No hit on the 14 dealer would have got 20

    For all you say "thats not basic strategy" you're not going to win if you're not willing to gamble
