Learn Blackjack Video Source & Info:
Here’s the original routine I filmed last year for a wildcard effect, but I didn’t like it as it seemed over complicated and too long, so I recorded another routine using the SAME METHOD and called it The Lone Wolf (link below).
Just thought some of you may want to see this variation before its deleted!
Hopefully, Enjoy!
Here’s the one I uploaded a few months ago: https://youtu.be/ZED3UHLhYlo

5:29 Iβm still trying to figure out how you got to 25 with 2 cards.
A rose by any other name is still a nice bit of magic!
"MEOW!" to L&L! πΊππΊ
This is fantastic Mark, thank you for sharing this great routine ππππππ
I also like this version too Mark thanks for posting π
WOW
I really like seeing a trick done by different performers and/or with different patter. Seeing a trick done in different ways, instead of "by the book" opens things up a lot, IMO.
The only issue I had was the values of the last two spectators' hands. In blackjack (at least in the US, maybe it's different there?) face cards are all worth 10, which would have made the last two hands have 20 each, along with the second (9 and ace) hand. IMO, that strengthens the trick, as your blackjack beats three hands of 20, instead of just one.
Again, great variation and alternate patter. Glad you didn't delete this, as I have a few other "gambling" tricks that this would go well with.
P.S. Asked for and received your "Sideliners" book for Christmas. Also saw that you have done downloads for Penguin Magic. Ever thought of doing a "video version" of the tricks included in the book?
I found a joker/Ace of Spade card on eBay $3 US you might check into it rather than glue two cards together π

There were no swear words used. I was actually praising the trick. This trick is massively super from many aspects – such as you appear to view four jokers, that one at a time gets knocked out and appear to turn into different cards, and then at the end the last joker even disappears ! Totally Magic as you would say.
Could not find the links to Hamman and Elmsley counts, however. Thank you for sharing the methods. I don't agree with those think the method should never be shared, because Magic is about mystery but also a puzzle. I find it entertaining and challenging. It is absolutely enjoyable to practice.
