Blackjack Strategy Video Source & Information:
The blackjack card counting strategy gives you a theoretical edge against the casino, but can you actually win in real life? Here I show my actual wins and losses over 37 gambling trips in real casinos. Each trip was about 2 or 3 days of more-or-less constant blackjack.
Overall, I won $96 per trip on average. On my worst trip, I lost $600. On my best trip, I won $1,880, but I was betting more than usual using other people’s money (investors) on that trip. If I had been betting my normal amount, I would have won only about $400, and my average win over 37 trips would have been just $55.
Since I usually bet $5 to $20 per hand, my average win per trip was about 3 large bets. That works out to about one large bet per full day of gambling. Considering the amount of preparation, practice, and effort, it was not a big return.
You might think that I enjoyed that big $1,880 winning trip, but I did not. I was under a lot of pressure to do well for my investors, and the casino management paid a lot more attention to my large bets.
It was on this trip that I was barred from playing blackjack at one casino, the only time it ever happened to me. The pit boss came over to me and said, “Sir, I’ve been watching you counting cards since yesterday. I just wanted to see if you could keep on winning. You’re no longer welcome to play blackjack here.”
He was polite and said it with a smile. I slunk away, embarrassed at getting “caught.” But I was young then. If it happened to me now, I would smile back and say “Well thank you for letting me play as long as you did!” There’s nothing illegal or unethical about card counting; it is just using your brain to do the best that you can, so there’s no reason to be embarrassed about being “caught”.
After the 37th trip, I lost interest and no longer made regular gambling trips. However, I still play blackjack occasionally when I get a chance. I still win just slightly more than one-half of the time. My new hobby is making videos on gambling and other subjects.

Thank u for being honest.👍
A few questions:
Were you playing single deck?
What was your bet spread, particularly the time you were bankrolled by investors?
Were you playing multiple hands?
Thank you
I agree. I have been practicing and playing a lot with card counting, but it doesn't guarantee win. You may win, you may lose even with really high positive true counnt. U have to withstand a lot of losses and wins, in order to come out a winner. But even so, the overall win is still not worth it. And I'm talking about using bet spread of 1-10 units. My unit is $10, and my Max bet is $100, and my bank roll is $2000
Cool vid. I was hoping those were recent outcomes for you. Shows you are a solid player. I am in the middle of one of those – when will I get back to my old high losing streaks? Literally the last 8 visits to the casino I have started off losing my first 4-7 bets. Spend hours trying to get back to even. Three days in a row at different casinos this was my exact outcome LLLLLLLWLL – Yes you read it correctly winning one out of first 10 bets. NOT FUN!!! Taking a break.
Looks like your skill level was certainly adequate. However, playing at those low stakes, you were probably making only minimum wage. The APs I know these days have typical bets in the hundreds of dollars. Then again, they have 6-figure and 7-figure bankrolls.
Appreciate your videos. Weren’t you a very successful blackjack player? Successful being you won more money than you lost? Keep up the great content. KB
How much did you bring to the trips where u played 5 to 20 per hand?
I don't think people realize how high the count has to get before you should go up on your bet. In my opinion it's a little inaccurate to go up on your bet with less than a true 6
