Would the progesive pattern of 1,1,2,3,4 (as it's better to have at least 50 bets at the start)and keep going until you lose be much more profitable? As you can catch bigger streaks and also your always leaving a bit more money behind each time
I dont think 5 is very beneficial in the long run. If you lose even 1 of those 5 you end up back at even. I've been experimenting with say : 5-10-20-10-20-10 etc and it works out pretty well
