Daily Real Deal: Blackjack 6-decks 1-3-2-6 vs Flat Bet 20170421

Blackjack Strategy Video Source & Information:

At the 15 minute mark I mistakenly allowed one hand of split aces to hit and take another 2 cards. Hand result would have been the same. Just 2 extra cards used up. I don’t know what else to do about it at this point. Sorry.

Six-deck heads-up blackjack following basic strategy.
Dealer stands on all 17s. No surrender. Blackjack pays 3:2.
One shoes. ~75% penetration.

Direct comparison of 1-3-2-6 Betting System vs Flat Betting. Both systems bet on the same hand.

Each player starts with 50 chips.
Flat bet player bets 1 chip per hand.
1-3-2-6 Player starts with a bet of 1 chip, increasing the bet to 3, then decrease to 2, then increase to 6 on consecutive winning hands, and returning to 1 chip on every loss. A win on the bet of 6 completes the cycle and the next bet would start the cycle again at 1 chip.

While the 1-3-2-6 system is often used in even money bets (i.e. red/black in Roulette), some players apply it to Blackjack.

Table minimum: 1 chip. Table Maximum: 100 chips. This would be the equivalent of a $5/$500 table.

You can use this (and forthcoming future videos) as a representative scenario to test your betting system or card counting.

I am not a pro dealer, so be nice.

  1. You people still don't understand:
YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE CASINO.
    The simple reason is:
Every single game offered at the Casino is constructed for you to have a pleasent time, but they will take your money and you will lose, for sure.
Casino games have been around for at least 2,000 years and still there are some suckers who believe you can beat the Casino.
There is no way you can do that.
It doesn't matter what you do.
You can not beat the mathematics and the odds provided against you.
To try to do that is only silly and utterly stupid, not to mention, totally waste of time.
If you want to play, use a home game instead.
And the game to use with fair odds and no raking is:
    Dice
    Poker

  2. Best advice try make daily profits same as your bady day job then walk out for the day simple but most people I know can’t stop come back the next day do it again etc it’s all discipline money management skills also it’s good to be a good player 🙂 you don’t need to count cards

  3. When you split Aces you only get one card on each Ace… at least anywhere and everywhere I've ever played that's how it goes I don't know where you're from

  4. You obviously don't understand the math. There's no need to even perform this test, and you would need to do it for millions of hands to get a fair comparison anyway. The answer is, that if you change your bet based on wins and losses and not based on counting cards, then that IS almost the same as flat betting with an amount equal to your average bet size, because there is very very little correlation between your hands that win and the advantage at the time, all you will see are 2nd order effects, whereas with counting cards, you see 1st order effects. The 2nd order effect is that you will see a SMALL negative correlation between the outcome of one hand and the next, because if you win the first hand, there is a slight statistical preference for that hand to have involved high cards since high cards favor the player, which uses them up for the next hand, so winning a hand gives a small amount of information about the composition of the cards. But it's far better just to use the ratio of high cards to low cards directly. But it's a very small effect because most of the player's advantage from high cards comes from the fact that they'll succeed more when doubling down and splitting, and they'll get paid more from blackjacks which will happen more often, a high true-count doesn't actually increase the player's odds of winning a hand that much if you're just tallying up the # of wins vs losses.

  5. You are supposed to hit a 12 to a dealer's 3 per Basic Strategy. You must be the guy that yelled at me for doing the proper thing! LOL

  6. 38.42 normally double ace if going to split just 1 card card each notjing less after 2nd card u are not suppouse to hit to soft 16 (6).
