This was hardly scientific guys but it was entertaining.
You should have put in x amount of money for each level and then measured the return. But that would involve counting the spins (and with the larger denoms you would get less spins) .
In the end all machines have a fixed percentage that pays out over a long period of time. A one time experiment isn't scientific. But as I said it was fun
Pay lines have nothing to do with it. The RNG decides if you are a winner or not then displays something on the screen accordingly.
In my experience the penny max bet has the best payout.
