I'm having trouble figuring out how to play a coupon that I have. It's not related to blackjack, but it is related to loss rebates so i hope you don't mind answering,
The coupon is a $20 freeplay rebate if I lose $20 on video poker. The casino uses daily loss and not total loss. So if I win, I can come back the next day to try to lose again and still keep my winnings from the previous day. I'm making an educated guess that this coupon is worth more than significantly more than $20 EV since there is a chance I can have a winning streak. Am I correct with that assumption? If so, how do i play this coupon optimally?

if you get back 25 per cent and loose 10 thousand how is that profitable you still loose 7,500 ?
the way to take advantage of this promotion is also very risky u need to make big bets to create a very high variance so there are large swings up and down on the down swings u get rebated 20% and that may be able to wipe out the houses advantage but the risk is that the large down swings will deplete ur bank roll fast
say u play 100 hands betting 100 per hand and the house won 52 and u won 48 so u lost 5200 and made 5175 becuz of hitting some blackjacks with say house advantage at 0.25%
the 5200 is then rebated by 20% for 1040 that means u only lost 4160 but made 5175 for a net of 1015
so u made 1015 while betting through 10k thats a 10% return and 100 hands can be played in less than an hour
now there will be wild swings up and down there will be times where u lost so much that u r net negative even with the rebate but then that will be off set by the times when u swing wildly upwards and keep 100% of ur winnings
this method requires a large bankroll to handle the swings and in fact u would want wild swings to make more back on the rebates
the casino likes this too becuz its great action for them on the casino floor so its a win win situation on both sides even if u win money from them u r serving as a promotional tool on the casino floor to get other people to bet and that makes the casino smile
