They started off as 25-cent video poker players and worked their way up to higher stakes after moving to Las Vegas from Indiana.

Hi, Jean Scott (The Frugal Gambler) here. Thank you to all those who are saying kind things. And I really hate that people keep saying that my words are/have been helping them become smarter gamblers. I'm trying to retire from writing but you all keep me inspired to keep at it!!!!!!
Always enjoy listening to Jean Scott. Even though advantage play is tougher these days it's still best to try and get whatever advantage you can. I play for entertainment value but always look for the best games and situations. Even the worst video poker is still better than slot machines!

This was an excellent interview. She is a true living legend in the gambling world. A true icon. It is unbelievable that she is still playing. Kudos to her.
I read Jean's Frugal book and that's is why I started playing video poker.
It definitely is work but it’s something enjoyable to do. No different than any other hobby like golf or fishing. If you don’t find gambling enjoyable then it will be like a job.
