The Don’t Pass and Don’t Come are 2-stage bets
Stage 1: The Come Out
– Win Condition: 2 or 3
– Lose Condition: 7 or 11
– Push: 12
Once a point is set, you’re in stage 2 … at this point, your bet is on the 7.
If the shooter rolls a 7 before they re-hit their point, your Don’t bet wins, 1:1
You’re the favorite to win that bet
2:1 vs the 4 or 10
3:2 vs the 5 or 9
6:5 vs the 6 or 8
Our goal is to set between 1 and 3 flat bets between the Don’t Pass and Don’t Come
Nice and Simple …
But getting them set can be hairy, until you know your options

The more odds you lay the lower your ROI. You have the House against the wall why give that percentage back to the casino? There is one exception to lay odds to protect your DC bet then it is time to "Hedge" your Don't bets. Aka "Casino Math ( House edge) VS Real Math ( ROI $$$)" The Don't side has the best odds ( yes the best odds) for Dice setters and less than 2% of players know what or how to use those dice sets. You can win 200% 300 % 400 % on just one roll with the seven. We love the Don't side when the table is cold or choppy which is 48%-52% of the time. Just saying—- Good show!
Seems to be human nature to take a system/method in gambling, stock market, etc that’s working and not just make minor positive tweaks but complicate it to the point of being almost impossible to use
Oh man I'm giving up on you. The don't pass isn't close to the best bet in the casino. The don't has a 1.36% house edge. The Banker bet at baccarat has a 1.06% house edge, the Player bet at baccarat has a 1.24% house edge. Playing perfect basic strategy at blackjack with no counting has about 0.5% house edge, depending on the exact rules of the game. So there's plenty of bets far better than the don't pass.
The only reason to make a don't pass bet would be to lay the odds against whatever number comes out. Just like the pass line, the more odds you lay, the lower the overall house edge. And just like the pass line, to win 5X is the minimum you want to lay as that level reduces the house edge to less than 0.3%.
Pass/come or don't pass/don't come are bets we make to get to the odds bet. Anyone not intending to take/lay at least 5X odds should not make a pass or don't pass bet. Go play blackjack or baccarat.
If you're hell bent on just flat betting the don't, the best way is to play the pass line and don't pass on the come out roll. You will lose 1 out of 36 come outs on the 12. Once there is a point, lay something against the point and make a don't come bet. Once the don't come goes behind a number, pick up the lay against the point. Continue to make as many don't come bets as you wish from here.
This is a horrible way to play, but it's better than all that hedging you talk about on the come out.
