How do they keep track of your bets with the players cards?
I went to Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls, NY. I gave them my card. I buy in for $100 at the craps table as I always do. After maybe 30 minutes or so I'm Up $225. I asked for a lunch comp. The pit boss says "let me check how long you've played and your average bet." He came back and said I "didn't bet or play long enough." I did something I shouldn't have. I was Pissed and hit the table again. Luckily I won another $200. So within approx 90 minutes or so I'm up $425 plus I have my original buy in of $100. I again ask for a comp for lunch. Again he says "let me check how long you've played and your average bet." He came back and again said that I "didn't bet or play long enough." I told him "I'm not risking $200-$300 and losing it for a $25 comp he can keep his comp, I wont buy anything here" and walked out with the $525. Kiss my ass Seneca. Never been back there since
Exactly and I won't play any more than $100. Once it's gone or I'm up I'm out. I won't risk 300 and play 3-4 hrs for a piddly comp
How do ask for comps? What do you say?
I had a friend who went to Vegas about three times a month. He would walk up to a table didn't matter which one. He would buy in for about $5000.00 and give them his card. He would then play a while minimum bets only. He would color up. He did this so that his card showed high play and so that he looked like he had won big! Just an ego trip and to get better comps. Never lost more than a couple of hundred. Did for about five years. Played at five casinos at least. He would brag at work how much he won every trip but we knew the truth.
