My advice is to find a landing area that allows your dice to stay closely cropped together after contact with the backwall.
I never have problems with bounce minimization, because 95% of my rollouts stay close to backwall.
Aim for a landing/Sweet SPOT?
Nah….. not for me, with the Toss that I use.
I simply toss by “ feel”, & not by sight. If you can toss effectively without looking at a Spot, or looking at the backwall, your muscle memory will be permanently ingrained!

I guarantee if you chuck the dice off a stack of chips 10,000 times you will get similar results. In other words the same bell curve as a perfect throw into a clear landing zones.
