1. If you place the 6&8 for $96, then it wins $112
   It’s a better bet.

2. Sorry to say that the hard 4 pays 8 for 1 not 8 to 1. You collected too much.

3. Please try this
   $100 Don’t Pass
   Place $25 5&9, & Place $24 6&8.
   After any hit of any place bet,
   take $25 of the win,
   & make a $25 Don’t Come bet,
   & lock up the rest of the profit.
   Keep recycling the $25 Don’t Come with money from any future hits.
   The $25 Don’t Come is never made from your bankroll money.
   You can also hedge the 10 & 4 with Hard Way bets from the winnings of the place bets only.

4. I'm like minded on this too… I don't like playing the "don't pass'' for me it's more because most strategies that I have my head around don't seem to favor it… or at least my lack of success doesn't give me the confidence to stick with it through the rough patches

7. I’m not sure why you’d regress the 6 & 8 to $30 after just 1 hit. The $100 DP plus the first hit $70 gives you a guaranteed profit of $50. IMHO it makes more sense to risk leaving the 6 & 8 at $60 each for additional $70 wins.
