Craps Strategies: The Short Game vs Don’t Pass & Inside

Craps Strategy Video Information:

OK, so I’m about 30 days out from my next Las Vegas adventure. Time to start ramping up my practice. Time to narrow in on my game plan and figure out optimum strategies.

In today’s video, I take two conservative betting strategies and pit them against each other. On one side, a hybrid between the One Hit Can’t Miss and Take the Money and Run, the other side, a simple Don’t Pass, hedged on the come out, and place bets.

The idea here is to maximize time at the table while reducing my exposure. This is part of my game plan! I’ll be in Vegas for several days and I want to protect my bankroll early. Gain some knowledge of the tables and towards the end of the week, be a little more aggressive.

All right.. enough talk, Let’s Roll!

  1. David, the camera angle from above was quite instructive. You do exactly what I do at release. Your/my hand tends to NOT be square to the front wall. That is one reason I run a practice throw before almost every real throw to get my hand turning right. One thing that does help me is to start the throw with my hand cockeyed to true in my case slightly to the left so that when I get to the release point it is straight to the wall. You might try that, at least do the slow practice swing to see how your hand looks like at the release point and you can force yourself to make adjustments.
