Cool
A better way to bet this is $75 on DP, play inside for $15 on 5 and/or 9, $30 on 6 and/or 8 and 10 in the field. Only hard way to place would be a hedge on the point that gets set. Why waste your money on placing random hard ways? Plow half any wins (from place or field back into the place bets). If the come out roll is a crap (2,3,12) you can double up the place bet amounts out of the $75 DP hit and try to jump start pushing the place bets higher on fewer rolls.
If the point is made and the DP is lost, leave the place bets up at whatever level they are at. Don't make another DP or Pass line bet (unless you are the shooter and have to). Play out the shooter with the place bets and field bets already there, pressing up half the hits on the place bets till the shooter 7's out. If another point is made, just rinse and repeat process without DP or Pass bets till shooter 7's out then start the whole process from the beginning.
If you find yourself up you can start making place bets for all the inside numbers at $30.
Doing the above you find that the $75 DP has the 7 out short rolls covered (you don't make much but at least it's still positive. If the roll goes longer, you start picking up winnings from the half press hits. If the shooter does make the point you just play out the shooter …. if he gets multiple points you're not loosing $75 each time with the DP bet and the place bets are paying bigger amounts which can recoup the $75 lost on the DP at the start.
Another approach to combating short rolls is to try and collect $30-50 depending if you started your place bets at $15 or $30 then regress the inside to 3 units each and keep pressing as they hit from there. You may not work the place bets to larger amounts quickly but you make sure you recover $30 in profits.
Another option is that if you don't like leaving the DP exposed on the come out roll, you can lay the 10 or 4 for whatever amount you choose to hedge along with a hard way for the 10 or 4 that was layed. Both of those bets (lay and hard way get pulled right after a point gets established.
Best way to play this is with a minimal or no line bet depending on wether you're the shooter or not! If you 7 out before you win your initial bet money just up your bet money on the next shooter ! After you hit one time regress back down to your original bet!
You gotta get the 4,9&10 with your first couple wins! You get paid double on those numbers ! That makes up for the money lost on the 6&8 plus some
You should play this by laying the 4 and 10
$50 pass, $25 don’t pass…..lay odds to cover iron cross. 7 winner on come out.
