I would like to see you run out a system where you are placing the four and the 10. And show some of the strategies, like a variation of the DC Martindale progression.
This scenario would be played on a 10 dollar table with a 500 dollar maximum bet.
First bet placing the 4 and 10, 10 dollars each for a total of 20 if lost
second bet on 4 and 10, 50 dollars each for a total of 100 if lost
third bet on 4 and 10, 225 dollars each for a total of 450 if lost
NO fourth bet. With this system you should start with a 600 dollar buy-in.
If on the first bet you win on both 4 and 10 take your winnings and repeat the cycle
but if on the first bet you lose on the 4 or the 10 but not your other number, you have lost 10 so your next bet would be would be 30 the principle here is to always have in return either five or 10 dollars above your loss. In the case that you lose on both numbers you only have two more chances to regain your bet because of house limits. This system works good when you're on a table that is consistently not rolling sevens on the come out bet. Generally on a good table the 10 or for will act as insurance for your other number. On a hot table where inside bets are rolling consistently that is five six eight and nine this system can have its merit.
Another variation of this is First bet placing the 4 and 10, 10 dollars each for a total of 20 and if lost don't double keep your maximum at 10 or what ever unit you start your play with. A variation of this is also place a come bet on your six and eight. With these two systems usually start with a 300 dollar buy-in.
