I had little of both (good and bad dealers), few dealers pass me the dices back with the number equal 7 on the side and I been tipped them. one time the stick man mix the dice with the other dice like the shooter crap out. π
I had a dealer at Gold Strike that was very understanding. I was hot and a woman came up to me and asked me "Teach me how to play dee craps?" I wanted to help but the dealer took over for me and told me to not worry about it, and that he had it. I appreciated that because I was in a zone. Same dealer, I think anyway, recognized that it was now cold and I was really falling off and advised me to walk away. I appreciated that. It ALWAYS takes more guts to walk away a winner! Sometimes you get tunnel vision and you don't realize it. Remember, It all turns into money when you drive past Whiskey Petes. Thanks for sharing. Bobby from southern california
I've had some "bad" dealers whom I've been able to convert to my side, usually by betting their tip along side my hedge bets. It keeps them watching out for their money and mine as well. Bad dealers I classify as the ones who are lackluster or don't seem to be paying attention to what I'm betting. It helps a lot when a dealer reminds you to add a dollar to the 6 for instance to get a better payout. Terrible dealers are the ones who pay incorrectly and argue about it, yawn and "look out the window", and others who flat out want you to lose. Coolers. In that case, I just find another table or casino.
l have been to a lot of casinos and I tip all the time but in MS there is one dealer I avoid. I don't tip her or I leave the table when she's on. She accused me of marking the cards. East St Louis is the same one I refuses to tip because of her lack of being nice to players.
What's the most common way to tip the dealers? Make a bet for them? If so what bets?
Hahahahaha a casino without a Craps Table IS sad!!! You got THAT right lol.
Even in Atlantic City $5 tables are rare.
Wheres that first crap table located?
I had a bad experience at Choctaw Casino, Durant, OK. I am a novice at craps and still learning the action, one morning I wanted to play before leaving for home in Texas. Well, I go to the casino head for the craps table, 5 dollar min bet and the stickman is this real punky know it all laissez-faire employee. Well, he started making faces and rolling his eyes at the women employee at the table, not sure what her role as she was an addition to the stickman, 2-dealers, and boxman. I was getting pretty pissed when I asked the stickman to turn off my hard way bets he did it again and made a face and rolled his eyes at this women. He was trying to show off in front of the woman. I said something and walked away…….I lost $100 and I believe he turned the table luck off not just my hard way bets.
Who would you approach to make a complaint or compliment about an employee at a craps table?
