It's not the suck out that's terrible, the call is, which is despicable. Idk what you have there,but bottom pair with that board texture calling an all in raise is absolutely no-no. It's not me playing that hand but frustrated I was seeing that call being paid off. Tough luck for the nuts, he was the true winner in the long run, screw A7o
I just lost and awful hand against a terrible player. Last night in a big tournament (big for me) I entered because I won a satellite. 15/16 pantera left and 9 gets paid. Blinds 2/4 k. I am in the button with 10 7 of hearts in the button. I have 20 blinds. I call and if someone raises I fold. Nobody raises.We are 4 players. 25 K pot including ante. Flop 7 7 A with 2 diamonds. They all check. I bet 9 and a awful and lucky player (I have seen him and many people tell me the same about this guy ) raises all in. My stack was about 45/50 % of his stack. I think and I call. He has A (of clubs I think. I am not sore but it is a black one ) and 8 of diamonds. I praise for no Ace. Running diamonds. It was a tournament with a big winning and if I get that hand it is highly likely I make final table (we were 15 or 16). I actually wanted to cry and beat that guy. They told me he said he didn’t believe my raise. Would someone reasonable risk 45/50 % with a weak ace, no flush draws with two 7 en the flop against the button? This is unbelievable. It is awful to play decent and lose against that kind of players. I won the entrance in a satellite. I played really well most of the tournament and I made no big mistakes. It is sh1tty 🤦🏾♂️
