Nah it could be king 4, king 6, pocket kings, etc. Lots of hands beat him
He really did go for that comfort food after this one…
No big deal. He plays online, he sees this daily.
AK (especially suited) probably would have made that same call preflop (some would re-raise) … and played a very similar line on the flop and turn. so just calling the flop and turn bets was the right move.
with the river shove … 44 is only losing to 66, KK, and K10. that's it. KK would have announced itself preflop with a re-raise, so that effectively can be scratched off the list. there aren't too many K10 combos left … and the only one that would have made sense to call the preflop raise would (realistically) be K10β£.
sometimes, you do everything right in a poker hand and still lose.
Staples gets as loveed in live as he does online.
Only having the 7th nuts, I would've used some time to think. I know it's hard to stop and read the board when you flop trips and turn a boat, but you NEED to take that time to slow down. Either way, myself and anyone who has played the game for a while has been beaten in this way multiple times. Always hurts when you think you have a customer but it turns out you were the customer πΆ
He has to call with bottom boat? Lol snap fold.
