that was a a real donk call
i dont mind you call me a donk 😉 it was microstakes and u got often sizetells, the minraise i 'said smells fishy' maybe it was… but in this stakes he often represent a pair he doesnt want to fold and because i had a big stack i decided to peel off the turn,, a Q and than he calls really small so (backdoor flush and str8 came in) if i raise turn and he reraises or call i got a difficult decision and river the Ace imo this time a blank and called…. lets be clear this isnt a play i make often
this was the first time and the last time and know this isnt a +ev play i know that… and the fact he click backed pretty fast it doesnt feel he had something…
thanks for sharing that with us John. timing tells can be useful for sure. For other interesting calls check out -> Davidi Kitai
My opinion. A) you were tilt and u just called off from rage
B) u wanted to make hands of the week so u went for it..
only thing that makes sense to me
guess it was a winning play then since plays of the week is $10 , so even if he has the best hand rarely it's +EV?
A : tilt? if im tilt i dont play and if u look at the stakes im 20 dollar up
B: this hand was in november and this series are quite new
short, debunked bro, great analyse btw
when it's the best time to re-esteal?
Typically the best time to resteal/3 bet as a bluff –
1. When players open fairly light but fold to reraises (of course this will often be when players open in late position, especially more active/aggressive types)
2. When players open fairly light, but call reraises but then fold to C bets because they play very 'fit or fold' postflop.
3. When your raise looks to threaten their entire stack
4. When the gap between your skill and their skill is wide (deeper stacked – for outplaying)
