Do not overplay marginal hands! Too many recreational players will put too much money into the pot with marginal made hands and will more often than not lose big pots!
In this poker video I give you a short lesson on why you should not overplay your marginal made hands and then I show you some highlights from a live session that walks you through my thought process when playing marginal made hands!
If one or two bets goes into the pot, strong, but non-premium hands like top pair bad kicker or middle pair are usually good.
If more money goes in, their value decreases.
When facing a bet, just call with these hands!
You can usually bet when checked to, but it usually correct to use a small or medium size because most worse hands will not call large bets.
