The issue is not 99 bet the flop, why KQ raised? You have pure nuts, why not just flat, the next guy may have AA going nuts All in. You may need to take a little more risk to make them fire 2nd shell, then you JAM the board, Also 99 could check the flop, control the pot. Because 99 has lots of outs to hit boat.
Hellmuth should've STFU. He wasn't in the hand and insulted every player at the table by stating that they were imbeciles. The only imbecile at that table was Hellmuth.
That was actually a horrendous play. He could have easily called to boat up and stack the other dude.

Just had a hand at the WSOP where the same thing happened….only my opponent got there on the river with his set.
Astute laydown Alec, but why not "roll the dice" and see if you can obtain a full house on next card or maybe bluff possibilities if a flush draw possibility arises. Agreed its speculating but you would have stacked him likely with right turn card. Just asking and perhaps you had read or contextual issues arose.
