Do you have a black eye? If so, what happened…
Welcome to South Florida! How long will you be playing at the Hard Rock? I'd love to come over to meet you and buy you both a drink.
Why would you start a tournament 5 or 6 hours late? You miss lots of opportunities when all the rookies and donkeys have a full stack to double up against. Also you have several hours to get info on how your opponents play. Not to mention when you get there late, often your sitting down with just a starting stack and your up against the more skilled opponents that have had time to pick off the weaker players and the stronger players now have 2 or 3 times the chip stack that you do. Just my opinion.
You got a black eye ?
Another great vlog…shared on twitter
How can you be tilted when you open Ace deuce Suited which is a hand that you shouldn't even be seeing the Flop with in a tournament.
Maybe in late position, if nobody raises, or if you're in the blinds but otherwise you surely don't raise ace deuce suited under the gun, ever. You shouldn't really ever be playing Ace rag suited or not suited at any point in a tournament except maybe short handed.
And then you put all your chips in, on a draw, with multiple players still in the hand? You're not going to make it to the final table playing like that in a tournament.
Best of luck to you both.
I wish you much luck and Bobby boy too.
Another great VLOG Lexy! You deserve credit for not being intimidated by Brian Altman. A lot of poker pros are not a big fan of the A-10 off-suit hand. However, out of 78 off-suit hands in Texas Hold'em, A-10 off-suit is 4th best, and exceeded in potential value by only A-K, A-Q, and A-J.
Concerning your Ah2h hand, you played it correctly. According to Cardplayer's odds calculator, your chance of winning based upon the Flop and your opponents' cards, was 24.14%. But you couldn't have known you were up against a set, and that the other player held two of the remaining nine hearts needed by you to make your flush. Try and imagine your demeanor if you folded your flush draw, and then the Board's third heart appeared on the River.
Forget about tournaments you are a cash player do what you do best.
