Poker Strategy Info And Source:
Always remember that the deeper the stacks are, the more dramatic adjustments you need to make at the poker tables!
This video is part of my Cash Game Masterclass that is exclusively available to PokerCoaching.com Premium members.
There are some notable differences between 200bb and 100bb stack sizes:
– Your stack-off threshold (amount of equity needed to get all-in) is higher.
– Being in position is even more important and allows for larger bet and raise sizes.
– The nut advantage drives your poker strategy to an even higher degree.
Most cash game players feel comfortable playing 100bb deep but I tend to see them not adjust their poker strategy when they start to build a bigger stack. This is a huge blunder as often it will cost them all of their chips.
I discuss all of these adjustments in great depth and explain why they are so important to consider in order to master deep stacked poker. This video will guide you through some real poker hand examples to help you see the theory in action.

What is the main adjustment you make when playing 200bb+ cash game poker?
Great video! I find it interesting however that in previous videos you mentioned if you have a range advantage you bet more often and if you have a nut advantage you bet bigger which seems counterintuitive to the first hand example where you say you don't have the nut advantage but you should polarize and bet bigger
I definitely didn't use check raises enough because I mostly used it to fold players out , so when it's being used for gaining value it works , but I'm seeing them times it's going to cause a fold .
My local 2/3 game has a $1k max but in. So thanks I needed this
very good content!
I have a strategy to bet when I'm ahead and fold when I'm behind and it works. I even tell the table my strategy and they never believe me.
Hey Boss, what country options do I have if I wanted to move and grind online poker in a legit place where it is legal. I want somewhere cheap so that I could live in an apartment while playing poker. Maybe get a side job but mainly play online. I know Linus went to Malta to play nl 50 but are there other options like Costa Rica or something? Thanks brother!
New Jaffe content? Let's goooo
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE POKER THANKS FOR THE GEMS IT’S DEFINITELY NOT UNAPPRECIATED…. I wont forget to smash that like button
For the example at 14:47, I would definitely bluff with a raise since we have the nut blocker, but probably not with a more than 4x pot shove. Wouldn't a raise like 300-350 (4x-5x of his river bet) also do the job?
