It might be unintuitive but poker bots are not as much of a risk as poker players using RTA (real time assistance) for a variety of reasons Phil listed today.
Optimal poker strategy usually looks like optimal poker strategy and running thousands of variations of the same bot will by virtue of giving the sites data through playing hands make the bots more recognizable to the poker sites.
Someone using RTA can, at any point, choose not to use the strategy the program puts in front of them. By altering the strategy that player is now harder to detect because they appear less like the program.

Yeah it's awesome when you're playing slow tables and as soon as you're in a 3 or 4bet pot your opponent starts tanking and makes their first 10% pot bet of the session xD
Their is nothing you have said yet, that is more inaccurate than this. Bots literally destroyed the bankrolls of 1000s of profitable players on ACR. Now that their is RTA, their is absolutely no reason to go back to playing online.
L take.
Bots can play 24-7 on maximum amount of tables. Yeah, bots probably couldn’t beat 500NL (or maybe not 200NL). But they can beat 50 and 100NL for heaps and crush the real recreational players.
You’re a smart guy but your takes recently have been pretty bad.
