how did hero only get another $900 in pot after V three bets H $1040 on flop? Lousy play. V is an ego dude. take those 2 the cleaners. V will call a 4 bet shove on flop and Hero buries him. Not 2020. u Dont raise the 3 bet on flop. u check turn for no value and only bet $900 on river? Weak reads by Gene. poor play.
i think you let him off the hook on the turn…maybe by betting small there would have induced a raise, but for sure he's going to call a 30% bet there unless maybe he has tens or jacks (or AK maybe), and he would be that much closer to pot committed. lately i've been increasing my turn betting frequency quite a bit for a few reasons, and it seems to be paying off. i don't remember where i read it, but you can get more value on turns because villains are more optimistic they might improve, or might think you are semibluffing. once all the cards are out, i think people play more straightforwardly.
These callers are so cringey. He said the villain "probably" isnt bluffing on the flop after villain 3 bets the flop to $1000! Really dude, then you dont even shove him in 2 different spots !!!!!!!. So bad, these dummies leave so much money on the table. Leaving $1000 in his opponents stack is unacceptable.
Stop saying "right" at the end of every sentence. It doesn't make the stupid bad you are saying any more true. You played the hand horribly and left 100 bbs on the table…… RIGHT????!!!!
There are def spots where your aren’t supposed to have any 3bets. If u run a sim on I’d i would bet this is one of those spots.
Best line here is donk lead shove turn to rep 75hh 87hh 53hh T8hh
I also like the river shove. Polarize your hand to missed straight draws and trips+
Why doe the result of hand show on screen before caller explains what happens? Lame😔
I would donkbet $600 OTT as Hero. To avoid this exact dilemma OTR.
In various parts of the video it is mentioned an urge to take V whole stack, set Vs AA-QQ.
Is this realistic for us to expect this to happen 300bb deep, with SPR=12, on a dry flop?
