In this hand we flop and overpair and face a check raise. The turn brings in the flush, but gives us a redraw. Do we have the correct odds to call off?

love Jessie's energy. seems like a cool dude.
Well played hand with a sound thought process.
That dude had a boner on the phone. Jessie is fancy boy
I just don’t understand why players continue to a C/R with an overpair on a connected board. In live low stakes, guys so rarely C/R as a semi-bluff or bluff for that matter. In this hand specifically, you also block some of the semi-bluffs. KJ, KQ of diamonds come to mind first. As played on the turn, I’m fine with him going with it based on the pure equity but he should just be folding on Flop. If you have an edge on your player pool, just wait for a better spot.
The decision point was on the flop, the turn looks like a sigh call. You win some and you lose some.
14% flush draw not good. ill take the fold, tough flop board already
Talk about not being results oriented. Some players would be screaming at the dealer! 🤯 Well done.
what about 89 diamonds, that seems pretty easy for villain to have. Pair + flush draw seems pretty reasonable as played by villain.
