  1. What about AxKh?? The 100 on the turn could easily be a pot control bet. Which now seeing the river and his hand seems true.

  2. Honestly I think a much better line is a turn bet/fold. Given the action I don't know why Bart didn't include hands just like the V had. In fact I think V has as many if not more combo draws than nutted/ strong hands. Leading turn could have saved money if we get raised because you only get raised twice at this level with higher flushes. If he calls you're screwed but maybe you'd get lucky to get raised.

One problem I definitely see in these videos is underestimating the player pool. Yes, they're going to be worse on average, but they're not all guys. In fact the guy played his hand pretty well. The flop is a good equity merge raise where some better hands fold, and some worse hands call, and a large turn bet may fold even more better hands.

  3. Flush over flush is always a bit of a cooler and not much, you can do about it. However I think, its important to ask ourselfes, Why we are C-betting this flop? Sure we can represent the A high board, but we are up against 2 opponents, and they also have a lot of hands, which connected in one way or another. So are we really getting enough folds here?

When people are new to poker, they tend to bet strong made hands and check everything else, because this is intuitively, what makes sense. And against people, who expect this, betting a flush draw send them for a loop, because they dont think, you can have a flush, when you were already betting, before it came.

However today it has become so common to play draws aggressively, that many players have actually fallen in the opposite trap. They bet every single flushdraw on the flop, and therefore they cant really have a flush, if they checked the flop. In fact they cant have much at all, so mostly they are just check-folding.

I think, this is a great spot to just check the flop. Both so we have some hands, that can check-call, and also because I dont think, this C-bet is generating very many folds. And finally, as should be obvious from the outcome, we are also not that interested in building the pot, so we can play a huge pot later with a 8 high flush.
