  1. I would have folded as well . V2 knows I have a strong hand and a big bet like that on the river means he got there 80% of the time playing 3 handed with a board like that .

  2. Can't blame you for folding, but there was something said that struck me, and Bart didn't address it. Something to the effect that he was a young online kid who fancied himself a trickster. So what exactly does that mean? (Because it's mentioned, I'm going to assume it's at least somewhat relevant). It means that this guy is looking for spots to make moves, and he may even like bluffing more than winning. When clubs, the gut shots and the hearts miss, I think you have to call a guy like this. It's not a macho contest to you, but there are players out there (and this is clearly one of them) who don't really care about your image and they are just trying to punk you, and you can't fold to them with your strong holdings or they will keep targeting you. Additionally, you have a lot more EV in calling a player who by your description is more capable of bluffing.

  3. you still don't know if you were good against the other guy… good fold as a general thing.

that "calling time" business seems pretty common at the low stakes, in my experience, and of course the guy calling it could have been friendly with the bettor there….i know that getting time called fouls up one's thinking process, and that is just rude in a pot like that.

look at that hand this way….you played better than those guys…they were doubtfully getting the right prices for chasing and over time you will end up doing better.

  4. Honestly the first though in my head was call. Im not being results oriented I genuinely think you are only losing to one combo of value played this way, specifically J10cc. No other value hand makes sense. J10 offsuit combos would almost mever take this line and j10 of hearts would also very likely play different. In fact, villain could even be value betting worse like KQ of hearts or Q9 of clubs or something. I think folding top&bottom here while having no hearts or clubs in your hand is acutally a mistake.
EDIT: i just realized rhat V1 lead turn and V2 called so it is possible that V2 has the offsuit combos of j10, but i still think its unlikely V2 would call with just a straight draw on a two toned board where anywhere from 2 to 4 of his outs could be dirty. So i still think its a call

  5. @crushlivepoker bart how do you have the patience to coach all these fishes and after teaching them things, they still dont listen? I feel like the bad players are subconsciously influencing me to play as bad as them etc… is it a negative EV move to analyze their hands and play style? It's just so bad
