  1. I am sorry to be harsh, but Hero could not possibly have played the river any worse. That small bet look like a blocker bet, so I would also jam AJ all day as Villain for pure value. It really look like, Hero was playing with scared money. The rest of the hand is ok, although 98s from UTG+1 is a very lose open.

  2. After practically inducing this jam with such a small river bet there is NO way hero can ever fold a flush here getting these pot odds. Slam dunk all in targeting a jack, if they are boated up so be it we lose sometimes

  3. I call BS on the first words out of his mouth…. "I've got $1400 and cover the table." The only way this guy has $1400 is if he bought in for $2000 an hour and a half ago.

  4. id probably just fold turn there because the board is already paired..some of your "outs" are probably dirty, and there is a chance someone is already slow-playing a monster here…

  5. the turn is where I would decide that if I made my hand I would go with it on the river, otherwise just fold turn. Hero needs to think what he is going to do (at the turn) on the river on certain run outs, otherwise just fold turn. I'm not getting all the way to the river to make my flush, then fold getting that price. Come on bro, make the call

  6. It's only $485 more to call? omg….. That guy is weak…. Just gave away $1,830 and only needed to call $485 with a flush? sure, there are combos of full houses and higher flushes that could beat you, but for $485 and a pot of $1,830, you will have to show me. I'd be too embarrassed to call in that hand. Wussy!

  7. It’s so annoying but at the same time hilarious hearing same people with the same exact mindset and the same bad fundamentals as “per-YouTube free coaching” stage, calling and throwing their atrocious thought process and parroting “Technical term” without knowing how in practice there’re used.
Honestly dude, this is just a typical inelastic fishy line that you’ve decorated it with “Pro’s terms” .
-Raise a hand bc it “looks” pretty and then check the flop! and then check call two streets and donk-food river! It’s so bad! You are burning money.

Dude if you are raising 98s from UTG(you are doing it for a reason!) find that reason first and play accordingly instead of parroting the terms and trying to take “GTO” lines.

In order to play “GTO” you first need to fix the Fundamentals man.
Sorry for being very bitter in my approach , but I don’t like to sugarcoat things.

Think well and play better- peace

  8. guy fold bruh. The hand looks like a J all day and it's hard for him to put you on a damn backdoor flush
